Our hall/back room is a great place for rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, company holiday parties as well as other types of gatherings. The rental charges for a party are $50.00 for members of VFW Post 1782 and $250.00 for non-members. For furnerals the use of the hall is free to members of VFW Post 1782 and $150.00 for non-members. A signed contract and 50% of the hall rental fee plus food costs will be required when the hall is reserved. The deposit will be refunded if the room is canceled at least 15 days in advance of the rental. We can not refund the food costs if the food has already been ordered. The cost of the hall rental is $50.00 for members of VFW Post 1782 and $250.00 for guests.
The back room holds 90 people seated comfortably. If you have more than 90 people we can keep the room dividers open. Please keep in mind that other patrons may be in the front half of the building so it may not be as private.
Children are welcome! Children must be supervised at all times. Children under 21 are allowed in the building until 9:00 PM. Only VFW employees are allowed in the kitchen, down stairs or behind the bar.
Food: The food must be supplied by the VFW (see Funeral Policy below). We do not allow outside catering companies for the event. We have an appetizer and banquet buffet menu with a selection of items to choose from. The food must be approved by the kitchen manager to ensure we can meet your needs. The final count must be provided seven days in advance of the scheduled date.
Beverages: All beverages must be purchased from the VFW. We have a beverage menu option if you would like to provide beverages for your guests.
Entertainment: We have an adequate space for a DJ or small band to play at your event. All music must cease no later than 11:00 PM. All equipment must be removed from the building by 12:00 AM on the night of the event. There are no exceptions. All entertainment must be pre-approved by VFW personnel.
Funeral Policy: If your event is a funeral luncheon/dinner, you may provide your own food or use a catering company. If you bring your own food you must provide your own serving equipment, paper plates, silverware and napkins. The use of our kitchen is not permitted. All beverages must be provided by the VFW. We will provide wait staff for your gathering.
